Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Liquor Store Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and ensuring the store remains well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and a good understanding of retail operations related to liquor sales. Duties
- Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately during retail sales transactions
- Handle cash drawers with responsibility, ensuring proper cash management and balancing at the end of shifts
- Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers regarding store products, including different types of liquor and related items
- Perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining product presentation standards
- Assist in inventory management by stocking shelves and monitoring stock levels to ensure product availability
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering recommendations, and creating a welcoming environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store to promote safety and an inviting shopping atmosphere
- Use basic math skills for processing transactions, giving correct change, and managing sales data accurately
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
