What We're Seeking:SWD Inc., located in Addison, IL. is looking for a Spring 2026 CAD Intern! We are looking for current students pursuing a Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Engineering, CAD design, or a related field. This internship will be 100% on-site in Addison, IL. You must be able to commute to our facility. This internship is PAID at $18.00 per hour.This internship will span over the Spring semester (January- May). However, we are flexible on the starting and ending dates depending on your classes and schedule. Hours are flexible! We know you have classes and homework to complete. Hours will range between 15-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities/Duties:Creating, modifying, and updating 2D and 3D models and drawings using CAD softwareUpdating existing drawings and models based on design changes and specificationsEntering and organizing data related to projects, drawings, and filesGaining practical experience in CAD software, drafting techniques, and project workflowsIdentifying and resolving potential issues in drawings and models, and communicating them to supervisorsQualifications:Familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, or similar software is helpfulAbility to understand technical plans, diagrams, and specificationsAccuracy and precision are essential for CAD workAbility to identify and resolve issues in drawings and modelsPowered by JazzHRVpgEncyir3
