Craig Swapp & Associates, a leading personal injury law firm in the intermountain west is seeking an Experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney licensed in the state of Utah to work in our Sandy, UT location. In this role you will be responsible for performing litigation strategies and processes in personal injury law seeking to create alternatives to case resolution. You will also conduct the day-to-day activities of the firm's litigation operation, and manage a team of case managers and/or legal assistants. You must be able to handle conflicting assignments and case load.

Responsibilities include:

• Counseling with staff regarding alternative and creative ways to settle cases
• Performing research, preparing briefs and documents, interpreting laws and legislation
• Gathering and analyzing data, as well as summarizing findings
• Counsels with, manages and advises clients regarding legal aspects of their cases
• Represents clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings
• Maintains upmost professional standards towards the firm and its clients
• Manages several cases and meets daily deadlines
• Assists negotiators in developing proper settlement strategies to meet revenue goals
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Juris doctorate, current license in Utah. Licensed in Idaho and/or Washington a plus.
• 2-5 years in personal injury litigation
• Strong reading comprehension, active listening, critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Solid knowledge of the legal system: laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents,  government regulations, agency rules and executive orders
• Ability to develop trust in constituents and staff and offers compassion to injured individuals
• Enjoy helping and interacting with people
• Likes working in a fast-paced environment
• Are driven and takes pride in your work

Salary : $150,000 - $300,000
