Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of personal injury and wrongful death cases from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal analysis on complex issues related to personal injury law.
- Develop and implement case management plans, including identifying legal issues, gathering and reviewing evidence, and determining the appropriate legal strategy.
- Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.
- Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar association.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a personal injury attorney, including significant trial experience.
- Proven track record of success in personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, and slip and fall cases.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Proficient in using legal research software and case management systems.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve complex disputes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and case management skills.
