What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Secretary/Paralegal Hybrid, Onsite position at Swanson Martin and Bell LLP Career Center?
Swanson Martin & Bell, LLP has an opening for an experienced Legal Secretary/Paralegal (hybrid) to litigation attorneys that will work out of our St. Louis office. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, able to manage busy attorneys and work independently.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, preparing e-filings for court, scheduling depositions where many parties are involved, maintaining attorneys' calendars, opening new files, time entry, preparing expense reports (ChromeRiver), and day-to-day responsibilities.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, product liability experience preferred*
- Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team, to assist attorneys
- Excellent communication skills, including attention to detail in writing
- Proficient in Microsoft skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Document Management System (DMS) experience
Compensation: Starting at $60k, DOE
