JOB SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization to ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role serves as a primary liaison between customers and the company-managing orders, invoices, and daily operational issues while maintaining strong, proactive customer relationships. The position requires consistent engagement with customers and internal teams to support smooth order flow, resolve concerns, and uphold service excellence.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Outreach - Contacts current and potential customers by phone to grow prospects and drive sales.
Sales Development - Develops, identifies, and secures direct sales opportunities to increase product sales.
Lead Management - Actively solicits product opportunities and refers leads as appropriate.
Inbound Support - Fields incoming customer calls and provides sales orders or product information as needed.
Product & Technical Info - Provides product, service, and technical information by answering questions and fulfilling customer requests.
Order Tracking - Assists in managing open orders using reports to track open jobs, backorders, and past‑due orders; actively work with internal teams to fulfill orders on time.
Expediting - Communicates with appropriate personnel regarding jobs that may miss promised due dates and participates in expediting actions to meet required deadlines.
Quote Follow‑Up - Tracks and follows up on customer quotes to convert opportunities into sales.
Order Entry - Enters and processes sales orders, including coordinating backordered parts with purchasing and communicating with production as needed.
Costing & Forecasting - Provides accurate costing, forecasting, and specification details to support purchasing and inventory accuracy.
Professional Growth - Enhances professional growth and development as technology, systems, and processes advance.
General Duties - Performs related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Policy Compliance - Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of related job experience.
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in re-manufacturing and operations.
- Off-Highway Industry and/or Mining experience preferred.
- Ability to read schematics, preferred but not required.
- Ability to effectively plan workload and analyze market conditions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
- Performs work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and follow directions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job duties consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent walking and/or standing is required.
- Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying of parts.
- Ability to work safely and adhere to the Swanson Safety System in daily job duties.
