What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Swanhaven Manor?
The Associated Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Swanhaven Manor in Saginaw, MI who enjoys new challenges, takes pride in their work, and is detail oriented. The ideal candidate will strive to create happy residents through providing superior customer service and keeping the building clean and tidy. Custodians are responsible for the overall cleanliness of the property, assisting with apartment turns, and helping with emergency on-call.
General Responsibilities:
- Sweep, vacuum, wax, and mop the floors
- Clean & dust common areas
- Sanitize restrooms
- Empty trash, recycling, and compost
- Assist with clearing snow in the winter and tending to grass in summer as needed
- Wash windows, inside and outside
- Make sure the community is clean and meets all safety requirements
- Wash walls, ceilings, and light fixtures regularly
- Complete assigned daily tasks according to required timeline
