CDL Route Delivery Driver- - Hazmat Required

Swanel is seeking a dependable, customer-focused CDL Route Delivery Driver with a required Hazmat endorsement to safely and efficiently deliver fountain syrups, beverage dispensing gases, cylinders, and related products to customers throughout the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area.

Drivers serve as the face of our company by providing outstanding customer service, planning efficient daily routes, accurately completing deliveries, collecting payments when due, and representing Swanel with professionalism. This position is focused on delivery and customer service and does not include equipment installation responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies
• Deliver fountain syrups, CO2, nitrogen, blended gases, cylinders, and related products to customer locations
• Safely transport and handle regulated beverage gases and cylinders
• Load, unload, and properly secure products for transport
• Verify delivery quantities and complete required paperwork accurately
• Collect customer payments when applicable
• Maintain professional, courteous relationships with customers
• Plan and follow efficient daily delivery routes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle cab
• Report vehicle, delivery, or customer concerns promptly
• Follow all company safety procedures and transportation requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Current Hazmat endorsement required
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• Previous commercial driving or route delivery experience preferred
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle beverage products and gas cylinders
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safe hazardous-material handling practices preferred
