Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Rochester, NY for tile setters, floor grinders, and industrial floor coating installers. Day-to-day tasks include preparing concrete and other surfaces using mechanical floor grinding and bead blasting equipment, installing commercial and industrial grade tile systems, and applying epoxy and other protective floor coatings. Responsibilities also include mixing materials to specification, ensuring proper layout and alignment, cutting and fitting tile, and finishing surfaces to meet quality and safety standards. Team members will handle cleanup of work areas, follow company safety protocols and PPE requirements, and collaborate with supervisors and coworkers to complete projects on schedule. The role may involve lifting, kneeling, working with power tools, and performing duties in varying environmental conditions.

Qualifications
- Experience with tile installation, including Tiling and Flooring in commercial or industrial environments, or a strong interest in learning these skills.
- Knowledge of Mosaics and Ceramic tile work, including layout, cutting, and setting, or relevant construction trade experience.
- Familiarity with Marble and other hard surface materials, including polishing, finishing, and proper handling.
- Ability to safely operate floor grinders, bead blasting equipment, and related tools for surface preparation.
- Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working on knees for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Greater Rochester area and willingness to work occasional extended or weekend hours as needed.
- Prior experience in tile setting, concrete work, or industrial floor coatings is preferred; apprenticeship or on-the-job training may be available for motivated candidates.
