Recreation Aide
Job Summary:
Swan Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated and experienced Recreation Aide to join our team in Patchogue, NY. As a Recreation Aide, you will assist our department staff in implementing activities and programs for our Residents, focusing on individual interests and providing exceptional care and support.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist department staff with the implementation of activities and programs for Residents, focusing on individual interests
Work directly with Residents on units
Set up, implement, and clean up programs as needed
Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested
Keep daily attendance and document resident's participation in activities
Assist resident to program location and return residents to appropriate units
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Positive attitude and energy is a must
Experience with activities in healthcare settings
Previous experience with Geriatric population preferred
Ability to work effectively as a team member

What We Offer:
Competitive hourly rate: $17 - $18 HOURLY
PART_TIME_AND_FULL_TIME opportunities available
Minimum 1 year of experience required
High school diploma or equivalent required
