Company Description
Swan EndoSurgical is developing next-generation robotic endosurgical systems and is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support engineering builds, system assembly, integration, and testing of advanced capital equipment. This is an on-site position based in Canton, Massachusetts, working closely with Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, and Sourcing in a fast-paced product development environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support engineering and development builds of robotic capital systems
- Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly
- Assist with subsystem integration and troubleshooting
- Execute preliminary build and test procedures
- Support inventory organization, kitting, and material movement
- Document build issues and support root cause investigations
- Work directly with engineers during prototype and pre-commercial builds
What We’re Looking For
- Technician experience in medical device, robotics, aerospace, automation, or complex equipment
- Strong hands-on mechanical assembly skills
- Comfortable working from CAD drawings and evolving documentation
- Experience with tools, fixtures, and test equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues clearly
- Startup or NPI environment experience is a plus
