What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gas Plumbing Apprentice position at Swan Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Air?

Assist in relighting the appliances in the customer's homes. You will make sure that all the appliances in the home are safe to turn back on and up to code with the plumbing law. Maintain a checklist of all homes visited that were relit, and report any issues back to the company with notes and pictures. Guaranteed 40-hour work week and dispatching from home is an option after thirty days of employment with no issues. We have company outings, and team building events.

Essential Technical Skills
- Strong customer service/communication and people skills
- Strong residential service experience and strong troubleshooting skills
- General Residential and Commercial Plumbing
- Water Heater replacement and repair
- Fixture Replacement (Faucets, Tubs, and Toilet)
- Sewer, Gas and Water Service Replacement
- Relighting Home owner appliances once gas service is restored
Requirements
- Current Texas Tradesman/Journeyman/Master Plumbing License
- Valid Texas Drivers License (clean driving record with at least 3 years driving experience)
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Neat, clean, appearance
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player with “can do” attitude
- Strong, steady work history a plus
