Finishing Technician

Full-time · Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

The finish is what the customer sees. Swan Creek runs stain, glaze, and catalyzed conversion varnish and lacquer on custom cabinetry and millwork headed to high-end homes and commercial spaces.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Sand, prep, and inspect raw product before finish
- Spray stain, sealer, and topcoat to a consistent, defect-free standard
- Mix and match colors to approved samples
- Scuff-sand between coats and touch up as needed
- Maintain spray guns, booth filters, and finish room housekeeping
- Track batches and follow product data sheets and cure times
WHAT YOU BRING
- Spray finishing experience preferred — wood finishing, auto body, or industrial coatings all translate
- Steady hand and an eye for color and sheen
- Willingness to follow PPE and solvent-handling procedures
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for a full shift
