What are the responsibilities and job description for the Final Assembly — Cabinetry position at Swan Creek Cabinet Company?
Swan Creek builds custom cabinetry and architectural millwork for high-end residential and commercial projects across Iowa and the surrounding region. Final assembly is the last set of hands on a job before it ships — the work has to be square, tight, and clean.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assemble cabinet boxes, face frames, and drawer boxes from cut parts
- Install hardware — hinges, slides, pulls, and adjustable shelving
- Fit and align doors and drawer fronts to spec
- Check dimensions and reveals against shop drawings
- Flag defects before product moves to shipping
- Keep the assembly area organized and tools maintained
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience in cabinetry, millwork, furniture, or finish carpentry preferred
- Ability to read a tape, a shop drawing, and a cut list
- Comfortable with pneumatic tools, drills, and basic hand tools
- Attention to detail — this is the quality gate before delivery
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for a full shift

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
