Requirements
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment such as ducting, hoods, etc
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, and other restaurant and retail systems
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide effective, long-term solutions
- Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and perform electrical diagnostics on complex systems
- Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and building automation system diagrams to accurately service equipment
- Perform mechanical repairs on refrigeration systems, pumps, and other mechanical components
- Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC and refrigeration systems as needed.
- Utilize welding skills for repairs requiring metal fabrication or joining components.
AGE/AVAILABILITY
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4 years of experience in HVAC service preferred
- Is able to get to the root of a problem, not just address symptoms
- Must conduct oneself in an honest, professional and respectful manner at all times.
- Must possess a love of people, interact with people well, and possess a desire for excellent customer service.
- Able to take direction, work independently, and as a member of a team, and able to create working relationships.
- Able to interact with employees and customers in stressful situations and/or conflict in a non-threatening and redemptive way.
- Must be highly motivated, hard working, and possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
- Must pay attention to details, be organized, and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Higher hourly wages on Sundays and federal holidays
