Role Description The Warehouse Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Lenexa, KS, supporting the efficient flow of materials and products through the warehouse. Day-to-day responsibilities include receiving inbound shipments, verifying and documenting incoming materials, and unloading trucks safely. The role involves picking and packing customer orders, preparing items for shipment, and performing shipping activities such as labeling, staging, and loading outbound freight. The Warehouse Associate will operate material-handling equipment, maintain organized and clean warehouse spaces, follow safety and quality procedures, and collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet service and productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving, including checking, documenting, and routing inbound and outbound materials.
- Candidates should possess skills in Packing and Unloading, with attention to accuracy, product protection, and safe handling of goods.
- Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation and Pallet Jack use, with the ability to move, stack, and stage materials safely.
- Basic computer and inventory system skills, with the ability to follow work instructions and complete documentation accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safe work practices in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required, stand for extended periods, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is preferred; experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; relevant certifications in forklift operation or material handling are a plus.
