Position Summary
SvN Architects Planners is looking for a Revit-capable Senior Architect for our Vancouver Studio, with experience on all phases of projects. This position is both design and technically focused, requiring individuals who can synthesize strong design intent with technical resolution, someone who is self-motivated and organized.
Critical thinking is at the core of our approach to design. We encourage design input at all levels and are looking for candidates that will invest in projects with the same level of passion that we bring to our work.
Qualifications
● 7 years of post-graduate experience;
● Experience in high-rise housing typologies, with a focus on Construction Documentation and Construction Administration phases;
● Must be registered with the AIBC or eligible to register with the AIBC;
● Exceptional design, communication, organization and interpersonal skills;
● Strong in Revit and AutoCAD;
● Technical understanding of building construction detailing including experience in mid-rise and high-rise mixed-use buildings an asset;
● Project management experience an asset;
● Experience working within the BC Building Code, Vancouver Building Bylaw and local zoning bylaws;
● Experience with passive house and net zero design principles including energy modeling, daylighting analysis and life cycle assessment tools are an asset.

The salary range for this role is $95,000 – $115,000 or commensurate based on experience.
