PROJECT MANAGERS (ALL LEVELS)

I am a Construction Recruiter who is representing two (2) Construction Management firms who require Project Managers as follows:

1. SENIOR PROJECT MANAGERS – High‐Rise Residential (25 Stories) – Brooklyn & NYC

Role Summary:

Senior Project Managers experienced in ground‐up residential condo construction, specifically 25‐story buildings and taller. Projects are primarily in Brooklyn, with additional work in Manhattan and other boroughs.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead full life‐cycle management of high‐rise residential projects from excavation to TCO.
• Direct site teams, superintendents, subcontractors, and engineering consultants.
• Oversee structural, MEP, façade, and vertical transportation scopes.
• Manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk mitigation.
• Interface with developers, lenders, and city agencies.
• Ensure compliance with DOB, FDNY, zoning, and high‐rise safety requirements.

Required Experience

• Ground‐up high‐rise residential construction (20 stories).
• Proven track record delivering condo towers in NYC.
• Deep familiarity with foundation work, concrete superstructure, curtain wall systems, and high‐rise logistics.

Software Requirements

• Autodesk (AutoCAD, BIM/REVIT familiarity preferred).

Salary

• Senior‐level compensation; open based on experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Has taken multiple high‐rise residential buildings from excavation through completion in NYC.
• Strong command of structural sequencing and high‐rise scheduling.
• Comfortable managing complex urban logistics and DOB interactions.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

2. COMMERCIAL INTERIOR PROJECT MANAGERS (all levels)

ROLE SUMMARY

Project Managers experienced in commercial interior construction experience (non‐public work). Projects are primarily in Queens, with additional work across NYC’s boroughs. The company maintains a main office in Queens and a satellite office in Manhattan.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage commercial interior build‐outs from pre‐construction through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and client communication.
• Oversee site logistics, safety compliance, and quality control.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and ownership teams.

Required Experience

• Commercial interior construction (corporate offices, retail, hospitality, private-sector interiors).
• Experience managing multiple projects or phases simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of NYC building codes and DOB processes.

Software Requirements

• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Procore (daily logs, submittals, financials, document management).

Salary

• Open, based on experience level (Assistant PM, PM, Senior PM).

• Strong communication and client‐facing skills.
• Ability to manage fast‐paced schedules typical of NYC interiors.
