On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Imaging Service Engineer III to support and maintain advanced diagnostic imaging and therapeutic radiation equipment in a healthcare environment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity readiness, and operational excellence while supporting clinical teams and mentoring technical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced inspection, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance of medical imaging equipment.
- Support MRI, CT, Digital X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arms, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine/PET systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead audit preparation, remediation activities, and equipment documentation efforts.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, including risk assessments, incident response, and compliance programs.
- Partner with clinical teams to resolve technology issues impacting patient care.
- Mentor technicians and support staff development.
- Assist with purchasing, budgeting, resource planning, and healthcare technology operations.
- 5-7 years of experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment in a healthcare environment.
- Strong expertise in MRI, CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, mammography, and PET systems.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, audits, remediation, and staff training.
- Knowledge of healthcare cybersecurity, risk management, and incident response.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Engineering, or related field preferred.
