Full-time | Monday-Friday | Occasional Saturdays | Swing Shift (12pm-8:30pm)
Sutton Trucking, LLC is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on our fleet of Class 8 truck and pneumatic tank trailers. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping equipment safe, reliable, and on the road.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine services on Class 8 tractors and pneumatic tank trailers
- Diagnose and repair electrical, lighting, and wiring issues
- Service brakes, suspension, and wheel-end components
- Inspect and replace tires and wheels
- Repair pneumatic valves, hoses, and trailer components
- Light welding/fabrication (preferred but not required)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete simple work orders to document repairs and maintain fleet records
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience
- Own general hand tools
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (preferred but not required)
- Trailer or pneumatic system experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
