Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Door Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment while ensuring the safety and security of the premises. This role involves a combination of custodial duties, facilities maintenance, and customer service, making it essential for the Door Person to be attentive, proactive, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and residents with a friendly demeanor as they enter and exit the building.
• Maintain cleanliness in the lobby and entrance areas through regular cleaning and custodial tasks.
• Perform floor care duties including buffing and polishing floors to ensure a pristine appearance.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring all areas meet hygiene standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any issues or repairs required in a timely manner.
• Provide assistance with residential painting projects when necessary, contributing to overall property upkeep.
• Act as a porter by helping with luggage or packages for guests as required.

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and general maintenance practices is advantageous.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning will be considered a plus.
• A background in customer service is beneficial, as interaction with residents and guests is a key aspect of this role.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness are essential for success in this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
