Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Pay Scale: $25-$37 (DOE) Spiffs

Position Summary: To provide maintenance and repairs on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.
Primary Job Function:
- Arrive at the jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched.
- Report problems with equipment to the Service Dispatcher to expedite parts delivery.
- Communicate with customers and collect C.O.D. on maintenance visits as directed.
- Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Inform and educate customers on additional products while performing maintenance.
- Inform customer of replacement options following company guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience making repair and replace decisions.
- Ability to acquire low voltage license within 2 years of employment.
- Advanced customer service skills.
- Acquire NATE certifications within one year of employment.
- Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
- Operate scissors and genie lifts in safe manner.
- Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices.
- Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Universal EPA Certification
- Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School
- NATE Certified
- 3 years' experience
- Insurable driving record
- Possess tools needed
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years’ experience.
- HVAC Tech School Certificate preferred.
- CFC universal certification.
Physical Requirements
- Stooping, walking, bending, climbing.
- Ability to lift up to 50-100 lbs.
- May be in confined spaces for short periods.
- Working in conditions exposed to weather conditions.
