Sansum Medical Group Santa Barbara has an opportunity for a full-time Urgent Care Provider to join our multispecialty care team.
Our well-established urgent care is seamlessly embedded within our larger multispecialty clinic, sharing the same electronic health record, ensuring continuity and collaboration. The position offers the unique opportunity to provide same-day, walk-in care for patients with acute or urgent needs either through self- referral or referral from our network of primary care and specialty clinicians. You will have on-site access to advanced imaging (x-ray, ultrasound, CT scan) as well as laboratory testing, enabling you to diagnose and treat the vast majority of urgent conditions in one convenient setting embodying the triple aim of health care by providing the right care, at the right time, in the right healthcare setting.
Position Details:
- Flexible Schedule -Three 12 hours shifts per week on average
- 30-35 Patients Per Day
- Evaluating and treating a wide range of patients with a broad case mix, from minor injuries and infections to complex presentations that benefit from rapid diagnostics.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Administering and prescribing medications
- Providing patient education and counseling
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within the multispecialty group or the emergency department to coordinate care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Salary:
- 1 Year Guarantee
- $280,000.00-$340,000.00
- The listed range is solely a base compensation for full-time physicians. It does not include incentives and benefits. The base compensation rate may be adjusted based on training, community need and other possible determining components.
- MD or DO with Directly Related Experience in Urgent Care
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- Perform Typical Urgent Care Procedures
- DEA Certificate
- Eligible to Work in the United States
- CA Licensure or the Ability to Obtain CA Licensure
- Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills
