Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Sales
- Conduct tours of available homes and community amenities for prospective residents.
- Respond promptly to phone, email, online, and in-person inquiries.
- Qualify prospective residents and identify housing needs.
- Explain lease terms, rental policies, and community amenities.
- Process applications, verify documentation, and assist with applicant approvals.
- Prepare lease agreements and coordinate move-in activities.
- Follow up with prospective residents to maximize occupancy opportunities.
- Support lease renewal efforts and resident retention initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of market conditions and competitive housing communities.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for resident questions and concerns.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Foster positive relationships with residents through professional and responsive service.
- Assist with resident engagement activities and community events.
- Support a welcoming and customer-focused community environment.
- Maintain accurate resident files and leasing records.
- Enter and update information within property management systems.
- Assist with rent payment processing and administrative reporting.
- Distribute notices, communications, newsletters, and community updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, housing regulations, and fair housing requirements.
- Participate in community outreach and local marketing initiatives.
- Support social media, referral, and advertising efforts to generate leads.
- Conduct market research and competitive property surveys.
- Assist with promotional campaigns and resident referral programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, leasing, hospitality, retail, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Previous leasing, property management, or residential housing experience.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and leasing practices.
- Experience with property management software systems.
- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.
- Experience in customer-facing sales environments with performance goals.
