Job Title: Billing Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Billing Specialist. This position plays a key role in supporting Sustainable Beef’s financial operations through a variety of billing and customer account management functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable using Business Central ERP.
- Enter invoices and accurately post them into the ERP system.
- Match and verify invoices against purchase orders, delivery slips, and related documentation.
- Communicate promptly with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to billing and reporting deadlines.
- Support weekend operations on a scheduled rotation, as required.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Verify bill of ladings and sales orders to ensure correct quantities and products are loaded on outbound trucks.
- Record hide counts into the inventory system and generate corresponding sales orders and invoices.
- Prepare and manage shipping documents for outbound product loads.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in billing, accounts payable, or financial operations preferred (experience in a manufacturing or meat processing environment is a plus).
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and ERP systems (Business Central experience highly preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across departments
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage time, and handle pressure.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to follow through on tasks to completion.
