Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive residential cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure homes are spotless and hygienic
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
- Manage janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment, ensuring all tools are maintained and stored properly for optimal use
- Conduct outdoor work when necessary, including patio or porch cleaning, ensuring the exterior of homes is tidy and inviting
- Practice manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or appliances during deep cleans or moving tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care and sanitation standards is advantageous
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while following health and safety guidelines
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks promptly without sacrificing quality
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks, including outdoor work when needed
