About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to join our team. This individual will serve as a key liaison between our company and our customers, ensuring exceptional support and efficient management of inventory systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machining processes, the ability to work with others, and the skills to manage an Inventory Management System (IMS) while building lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to support customer requirements, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Tool Testing
  • Work with applications team to test and document results.

IMS (Inventory Management System) Oversight

  • Manage and optimize customers’ IMS systems, ensuring proper stock levels of tools, PPE, and consumables.
  • Track and analyze usage data to recommend inventory adjustments, cost savings, and improved efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely replenishment and accurate reporting.
  • Sales & Business Development
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and support the onboarding of new clients.
  • Prepare and deliver customized proposals and presentations based on customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue targets and meet account growth objectives.

Qualification

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing technical support.
  • Knowledge of vendor-managed inventory (VMI) programs and related systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare usage and cost-saving reports for customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
