What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Instructor Electrical Line Worker Program position at Sussex County Community College?
Sussex County Community College is currently looking for Adjunct Professors to teach core courses within the Electrical Line Worker Program.
Requirements:
Willing to participate in projects or promotions on campus and in our community.
CDL is Preferred but not required.
Understanding of Transmission/Distribution Power lines Theories and construction of overhead structures.
Attend faculty and staff meetings
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience working in the field of electrical or forestry climbing.
Minimum 2 years experience working in the field of education or group training.
The Learning Management System (LMS) that we use for is Canvas. Prior knowledge of Canvas or similar learning platform is preferred. Although not a requirement strong technical and computer proficiency is recommended.
- Prior teaching experience and knowledge of online instruction strongly preferred.
- NJ, NY, and PA residence recommended.
Adjunct pay is based on $910 per credit hour.
