Overview
Susquehanna is hiring a senior software engineer to join our Prediction Market Development Team. This team delivers innovative datasets, advanced applications, and sophisticated trading strategies to enhance the prediction market trading desk's initiatives. We operate in an environment that thrives on a mix of quantitative, strategic, and frontend development skills. Our primary aim is to seamlessly integrate software developers, quantitative researchers, and traders, fostering a dynamic and expanding business.
We are seeking an individual with proficiency in Python development to join us. Your role will involve developing datasets, strategy signals, and control surfaces for managing strategies and signal generators. Visualizations will also form a significant part of your contribution.
Our technology ecosystem primarily utilizes Python, C , and JavaScript/TypeScript, with custom UI development carried out via React. The ecosystem operates within a Linux environment.
We are a collaborative team, with full ownership of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), spanning from requirements gathering to deploying and supporting production software. An ideal candidate would be enthusiastic to learn about our business directly from stakeholders. Your role will be instrumental in helping us expedite the development of robust software and data solutions to foster our dynamic trading efforts.
What you'll do
- Curating high-value datasets to support traders and quantitative researchers in generating insightful market analyses
- Creating and maintaining robust, user-friendly frontend interfaces for trading strategies and signal generators
- Building quantitative signal generators that feed trading strategies
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar major.
- 5 year of software development experience with Python
- Experience with C is a plus
- Visa sponsorship is available for this position
