Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards, including food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing cash transactions.
- Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance sales, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain a clean workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring proper kitchen hygiene practices are followed.
- Manage customer service interactions by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and providing a friendly dining experience.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting food preparation and service operations.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food safety standards to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, sanitation, and operating kitchen equipment is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills complemented by basic math proficiency for retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures is essential.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
