Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems ensuring clear communication of menu items and specials
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, and bussing tables to keep the dining area clean and inviting
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Uphold food safety standards by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
- Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience or food industry background preferred;
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Experience in food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Serving or host/hostess experience that highlights strong guest relations and hospitality skills
- Bartending experience is a plus, but not required.
