Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Interior Designer, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with opportunities to work remotely on occasion. The selected individual will collaborate on designing interior spaces, developing layouts, and creating construction drawings. Responsibilities include space planning, selecting and specifying finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and supporting project management from concept to completion. The role also involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design for functional and aesthetically pleasing environments
- Experience with Architecture and creating detailed Construction Drawings
- Competence in selecting and specifying FF&E to align with design concepts
- Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with clients, contractors, and team members
- A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential or commercial interior design is preferred
