Surview Field Services is currently hiring an Operations Coordinator! The operations Coordinator supports the daily planning, coordination, and documentation of construction activities. This position works closely with field crews, operations administrative team, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are properly scheduled, permitted, supplied, and tracked from start to completion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail oriented, and skilled in communication and customer service, capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining strong professional relationships that support successful project delivery and close out.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and distribute crew schedules aligned with project timelines, resource availability, and production goals.
- Manage project documentation, including design changes, addenda, RFIs, permits, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and organization throughout all phases.
- Coordinate communication between clients, subcontractors, field crews, and internal teams to maintain alignment on schedules, deliverables, and expectations.
- Support the transition from pre-construction to construction by preparing turnover packages, facilitating hand-off meetings, and ensuring required approvals (permits, traffic control plans, lane closures) are secured.
- Oversee material procurement by verifying quantities, obtaining quotes, preparing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries to prevent delays and maintain cost control.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and agencies to ensure materials and services meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Audit, compile, and distribute daily production data and post-construction documentation, including inspection reports, photos, and permit closeouts.
- Prepare and distribute weekly performance and progress reports summarizing key production metrics.
- Assist with equipment logistics, subcontractor scheduling, and operational problem-solving to support efficient field execution.
- Promote compliance with client, safety, quality, and environmental standards while contributing to continuous improvement and lessons learned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of construction processes, DOT lane closure permitting procedures, and safety practices are strongly preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities when interacting with clients, agencies, and team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Independent problem-solving, initiative, and adaptability.
- Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in construction management, business administration, plus a minimum of two (2) years’ directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with material ordering, procurement, and vendor coordination preferred.
Additional:
- Must possess a valid, real ID driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Occasional overnight travel for client meetings outside of normal work hours.
- Must possess necessary documentation for airline travel.
