Professional Land Surveyor

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and team-driven professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the land surveying industry. This position will be primarily office-based and will play a vital role in managing projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and oversee field crews 
• Schedule and coordinate multiple survey projects 
• Price and prepare estimates for incoming projects 
• Create and modify survey drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, Carlson) 
• Prepare topographic maps, boundary surveys, as-built drawings, and other technical survey documents 
• Review and ensure all survey deliverables meet industry standards and company specifications 
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure project goals are met 
• Maintain organized records and documentation of all survey work 
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff as needed 

Qualifications: 

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (required) 
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience 
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Carlson, and Microsoft Office Suite 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities 
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 
• Computer skills involved in the submittal of daily files including downloading of data, preparation/organization of field sketches & digital photographs, completion of daily checklists is required.  
• Candidate must be able to pass a background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.
