Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to oversee early-stage transfer and design change projects within electro-mechanical medical devices. This individual will manage cross-functional project teams, develop and execute project plans, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
This is a 5-days-per-week onsite role.
Day-to-Day
- Manage multiple concurrent manufacturing projects from initiation through closeout.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and priorities; track progress and drive accountability.
- Facilitate meetings, take minutes, and lead discussions when needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project alignment.
- Support early-stage planning activities (brainstorming, feasibility testing, change orders).
- Identify and escalate risks, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company quality policies and regulatory standards.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Requirements / Qualifications
- 3–5 years of project/program management experience in a life sciences manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident in conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and other PM tools.
- Degree in engineering or related field preferred, not required.
- PMP certification a plus.
- Experience with regulated industries (medical devices preferred).
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, early-stage project environments.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
