About the Opportunity

An emerging consumer packaged goods brand is seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Trade Marketing Specialist to support national growth initiatives across retail and foodservice channels.

This role will work closely with distributors, brokers, retailers, vendors, and internal teams to drive retail execution, trade marketing programs, product launches, activations, events, and key commercial initiatives. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage retail execution across distributors, brokers, and retail partners

• Coordinate product launches, listings, authorizations, and promotional programs

• Build and manage trade promotion calendars, discounts, billbacks, and trade spend initiatives

• Serve as a key liaison between distributors, brokers, retailers, and internal teams

• Coordinate sample requests, sales materials, launches, and retailer communications

• Support demos, activations, merchandising initiatives, trade shows, and industry events

• Track velocity, sell-through, distribution performance, and execution gaps

• Maintain reporting dashboards and provide performance insights to leadership

• Support recruiting efforts, vendor management, and special projects as needed

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support company growth

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in trade marketing, customer marketing, retail marketing, CPG, sales operations, or a related field

• Experience working with distributors, brokers, retailers, or consumer brands

• Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills

• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Experience leveraging AI tools and technology to improve productivity is a plus
