About the Opportunity
A leading alternative investment platform is seeking an Internal Wholesaler to join its growing distribution team.
This individual will work closely with external sales professionals and other internal sales partners to support existing advisor relationships, drive product adoption, and help expand the firm's presence across broker-dealers, RIAs, and wealth management platforms.
The role offers the opportunity to represent a suite of institutional alternative investment strategies spanning private credit, infrastructure, and other private market solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sales support and service by initiating outbound calls to financial advisors and broker-dealer partners
- Deliver market updates and identify opportunities to cross-sell investment solutions
- Follow up with advisors after wholesaler meetings to provide additional information, gather feedback, and uncover new opportunities
- Coordinate meetings, seminars, webinars, conference calls, and advisor events
- Assist financial advisors in growing their businesses through portfolio analysis, product education, and ongoing support
- Keep advisors informed regarding current marketing materials, product updates, and upcoming events
- Maintain competitive intelligence through industry research, training, and collaboration with internal teams
- Stay current on financial markets, investment trends, and industry developments
- Partner closely with external wholesalers and other members of the distribution team to achieve territory goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience within the financial services industry
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial sales, internal wholesaling, or a related client-facing role
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with financial professionals
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Genuine interest in financial markets and investment management
- SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 (or equivalent) required
- Previously held Series 7 and 63 licenses that are inactive will be considered, provided all required exams are retaken and passed within three months of hire
