Purpose:
Performs under the Department of Quality Assurance under the direct report of Internal Auditor. Enters daily result for microbiology, and results for chemistry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Frequently requires standing, lifting, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, smelling, listening, speaking, and seeing to perform the essential job duties.
Work conditions vary, quitting time will vary based upon production needs, and flexibility is critical. Temperatures range from 30 to 110 degrees in processing departments.
Exposure to potentially dangerous machinery and equipment are present in the plant. Potential electrical, mechanical, and chemical, hazards are also present. The noise level is high and constant. Floors are damp and slick.
Must be able to bend, stoop and to stand for long periods of time.
Education and Work Experience:
High school education or equivalent preferred. Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team effort.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter Chemical analysis and Microbiological results.
- Make worksheets for Microbiology as needed.
- Make reports for Microbiology as needed.
- Enters weights for QA department, physical defects, and makes monthly reports.
- Responsible for Food Scan calibration and Chlorine checks as needed.
- Enforcing the company’s good manufacturing practice program.
- Fill in for Chemistry Technician as needed.
- Full knowledge of running Food Scan and Chemistry samples.
- Must be flexible with schedule to include filling in with second shift, start-up and weekends.
- Must be able to learn and abide by company rules and policies, and customer specifications.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must conduct themselves in a respectable, professional and courteous fashion.
- Must be able to interact with other department managers and customers.
- Must be able to multi task.
