What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE - SURGERY - PART TIME (37933) position at SURGICAL SPECIALTY CENTER OF BATON ROUGE LLC?
This is a part time position where primary hours will be 2pm - 6pm with some flexibility required.
Purpose
To ensure all necessary demographic and insurance information is obtained from the patient, information is entered into CPSI accurately, all appropriate signatures are obtained from the patient and information is passed on to the clinical department timely in order to begin the patient’s stay.
General Responsibilities
Provide registration/admission support to ensure correct and complete demographic and insurance records are obtained in a timely manner and collect patient out of pocket expense at the time of service.
Education:
High School or Equivalent preferred
Experience:
Computer (PC) experience and strong organization, communication and people skills
Insurance verification experience is required.
