What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Aide - Newnan, GA position at Surgery Partners Brand?
Georgia Bone and Joint is looking for a highly motivated Aide for our Physical Therapy department in Newnan, GA. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will be tasked with being a dynamic member of the therapy team by helping to maximize patient care and improve clinic flow. This is an entry-level, full-time position with full benefits available.
Duties include:
- Assist patients who are entering the clinic for their appointments
- Setting up and helping patients transition between exercise equipment
- Sanitizing mats and equipment between patients
- Cleaning and organizing the clinic and supplies throughout the day
- Many other tasks as directed by the therapists
Requirements:
- Good communication skills with a diverse patient population
- Positive attitude
- Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Overall good physical ability including Squatting, bending, and lifting without restrictions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Full time position, M-F, No Weekends
