A growing and dynamic surgery center in Brooklyn is in need of RNs with pain management, spine and ortho experience.
Position Responsibilities:
In addition to general nursing responsibilities, typical duties include (but are not limited to):
� Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
� Ensures that the correct site and side are being operated on
� Responds to life-threatening situations based on nursing standards and protocol
� Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, promptly, in the facility EMR
� Preps operating room for patient/procedure and assists other staff in breaking down the room
� Initiates corrective actions whenever needed
� Assists in positioning, and responding to the comfort/safety of the patient
� Provides for accurate care and handling of specimens
� Observes and enforce strict standards of asepsis
� Other duties as assigned- Covering Preop and PACU
Position Requirements
� Graduate of an accredited nursing program
� Current nursing license, in good standing with NYS
� Minimum of two (2) years OR experience
� Cognitive skills and ability to perform physical tasks as related to the position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
