Surgeons Choice Medical Center is a patient centered health care facility and physician owned destination of care focusing on all hand, joint, orthopedic and sports medicine. We have since become the premier center of choice with 30 surgical beds, 26 rehabilitation beds, and 6 operating rooms.
Surgeons Choice Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Radiological Technologist on our surgical floor. An ideal candidate has a passion to serve people to improve their quality of life and empower them on their health journey.
Role/Position Definition: Performs diagnostic medical radiographs on patients for hospital and outpatient clinic with follow through on paperwork. Provides fluoroscopic radiology for surgical procedures using C-arm equipment. Maintains all equipment and supplies related to the department.
Qualifications/Position Requirements:
Education/Experience
- Graduation from accredited program of Radiologic Technology required
- Previous relevant experience preferred.
- 2 years OR experience required.
Licensure/Certification
- Current licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Requires proficiency in the use of general office equipment (i.e. copier, telephones).
- Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be proficient in computer usage.
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology.
- Must possess excellent reading and writing skills.
