SUMMARY

The Regional Vice President is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth within an assigned geographic region. This role has overall responsibility for:


  1. developing and executing sales strategies for new prospects as well as active and inactive client accounts,
  2. partnering with field leadership to plan, conduct, and follow up on sales activities, and
  3. achieving profitability and performance results aligned with established forecasts and expectations.


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop account sales plans and strategies in collaboration with leadership for a minimum of 30 targeted accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Identify new prospects and develop effective sales strategies to secure new business, including sales calls, competitive analysis, presentations, proposals, demonstrations, direct outreach campaigns, and follow-up activity
  • Conduct sales calls for prospect, active, and inactive accounts independently and jointly with branch staff and management, as prioritized by leadership
  • Serve as the lead and primary sales resource for assigned target accounts, including ownership of account planning
  • Coordinate sales approach and communication strategies for new and reactivated client accounts with the appropriate branch office(s)
  • Provide additional sales expertise and partner with branch teams as a dedicated sales resource, supporting action plans, presentations, and targeted sales activities
  • Develop solution-oriented sales strategies to grow business within key accounts and collaborate with branch teams to execute those strategies
  • Sell strategic products and service solutions and negotiate pricing with guidance from leadership
  • Partner with branch and headquarters teams to enhance product knowledge, support sales closure, and ensure effective implementation of solutions
  • Drive timely sales closures to shorten the sales cycle and ensure goals and objectives are met
  • Analyze client needs and requirements to align company products and services with business challenges and solutions
  • Establish and maintain relationships within the local business community through networking and industry events to increase brand awareness
  • Assist in the development of business proposals, marketing materials, and presentations as needed
  • Accurately record all sales and business activity in the company database and complete required reports
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all customer and prospect inquiries
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the successful operation of the organization


REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or equivalent business experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven outside sales experience, with an emphasis on consultative and solution-based selling
  • Strong business development background, including prospecting, cold calling, sales presentations, closing techniques, and pricing/service proposal development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, follow-up, and closing skills, with a strong emphasis on active listening
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in team environments
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, competitive, deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and results-driven mindset
  • Strong leadership skills with initiative, creativity, and the ability to identify and share effective sales strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet-based tools
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and other company locations as required
  • Ability to effectively use work-related equipment and materials
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service orientation
  • Cooperative, team-oriented, adaptable, and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work autonomously while remaining flexible and responsive to changing priorities
