Job Summary:This position is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with Hanover Displays procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical instructions, and experience working with electronic components.Duties & Responsibilities:Read and interpret all test procedures and checklists to ensure high-quality PCB productionHand-assemble and secure components on PCBs using various toolsTest all production circuit boards (PCBs) for proper functionAssemble and secure parts prior to wave and selective solder processesUnderstand component types, polarity, and proper placementUse various hand tools and equipment as requiredAssist with additional PCB assembly tasks as neededVisually inspect SMT assemblies to ensure accuracy and qualityMaintain production-related documentation accuratelyEnsure all products meet IPC-610 standardsKeep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-freeImmediately report any safety hazards or unsafe practices to managementPerform other duties as assignedPreferred Skills & Qualifications:Excellent hand soldering skills (SMD and through-hole)Strong component identification abilitiesUnderstanding of component polarity requirementsGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to follow engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)High level of attention to detailIPC-610 certification (preferred)IPC J-STD-001 certification (preferred)
