Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on metal components using fixtures
- Set up and adjust welding equipment as needed
- Read and interpret tape measurements accurately
- Complete welds in vertical, horizontal, and wrap positions
- Ensure weld quality, including closing gaps and clean finishes
- Follow all plant safety guidelines and procedures
Qualifications
- Basic welding knowledge (entry-level candidates welcome)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to pass a welding test, including:
- Vertical up/down welding
- Horizontal welding
- Weld wraps
- Gap closure and overall weld quality
- Experience with fixtures preferred
- Welding certifications are a plus, but not required
