Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Ashland, Ohio. This role is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations.
This position requires hands-on troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Training Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM (1st Shift)
Regular Schedule (4th Shift):
- Thursday – Saturday, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, and service industrial machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify root causes of equipment failures
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks
- Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards
Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs on machinery
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
