Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Injection Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting injection molding machines while ensuring efficient production and quality standards are met.
This position offers growth opportunities through a structured skill-level program (Grades 1–3), allowing employees to advance as they develop their expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate injection molding machines
- Install and remove molds, including proper hook-up of hydraulic, electrical, and water lines
- Troubleshoot machine and mold issues to minimize downtime
- Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and material handling systems
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including LOTO
- Use computer systems and process monitoring tools (e.g., eDart, if applicable)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Train and support entry-level technicians (for higher-level roles)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic math and communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Prior injection molding experience preferred but not required (training provided)
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment
- Willingness to work any shift, including overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Frequent walking, bending, and lifting (up to 40 lbs.)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
