Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations. This role requires hands-on experience operating reach trucks, internal combustion (IC) forklifts, and pallet jacks. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks, counterbalance/internal combustion forklifts, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, and stack materials according to company procedures
- Accurately pick, stage, and transport products within the warehouse
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including shipping and receiving
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of recent forklift experience (reach truck and IC forklifts required)
- Experience operating pallet jacks (manual and/or electric)
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be fluent in speaking and writing English
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
