Floater

Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and flexible Floater to support daily warehouse operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficiency across multiple departments and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and is comfortable taking on different responsibilities as needed.

Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday, with possible overtime)

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate material handling equipment including bendies, forklifts, and cherry pickers
• Assist with shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading trucks
• Pick and prepare orders using RF scanners with accuracy and attention to detail
• Move, stage, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse
• Support inventory control and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, or similar equipment preferred
• Ability to learn and operate RF scanning systems
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds continuously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

This is a warehouse setting that may include standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically demanding role and in varying warehouse conditions.
