Summary of the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing warehouse and production activities to meet or exceed operational goals, customer expectations, and growth targets. The position also focuses on building strong internal and external relationships, including team members, logistics partners, and vendors.
Essential Duties
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety policies and procedures
- Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate all fabrication and warehouse distribution activities, including:
- Inventory management (raw materials)
- Scheduling and maintenance of daily production
- Coordination of work orders for kitting and light assembly
- Lead and develop production and distribution teams, including training, setting expectations, and driving performance
- Motivate, coach, and mentor team members to foster a positive, team-oriented culture
- Manage hiring, development, and performance evaluations of direct reports
- Execute business objectives in collaboration with leadership
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor and maintain on-time delivery goals
- Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Identify and implement process improvements across operations

- Occasional travel may be required
Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Experience implementing warehouse and production process improvements
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing staff, KPIs, and timelines
- Knowledge of warehouse best practices, including domestic and international shipping and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business systems
- Experience with ERP/HRIS systems and warehouse management software
- Ability to analyze data and make operational recommendations
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a fabrication or distribution environment
- 7–10 years of warehouse or production experience in an industrial setting
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or equivalent experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Regular computer use
